If one group decides not to put in effort, they know that it will swing back their direction when the other party fails to meet the needs and desires of the populace. more competition is needed to ensure that the swing is interrupted, to make sure that folks have to work for their dollar. ~~ sure would be nice if we took the pot smokers out of prison and put people in that are utterly failing to uphold their offices. 2 party systems are the root cause here, so far as i am concerned. they are nothing more than an illusion of democracy.
